White wines
A fantastic thirst-quenching drink to enjoy with friends. The wine is a great example of the Chenin Blanc grape, locally called Steen. It offers floral and vegetal notes on the nose and palate.

A wonderful example of Chardonnay from the South African vineyard. Initially, the nose offers exotic fruit aromas, which are followed by hints of toast and smoke characteristic of oak-aged Chardonnay. Intense on the palate with hints of spice and oak.

New Seidelberg winemaker Cerina De Jongh's CV reads encouragingly: top of her year at Elsenburg College, hired by high profile Grangehurst and veteran of vintages worldwide. She's thriving at this idyllic estate, founded in 1680 on the southern slopes of the Paarlberg, owned by German émigré Roland Seidel. Cerina's Viognier, one of few in South Africa, veers away from the massive, oily 'new world' style. It's fresh and clean with citrus and dried pear characters.

Grown on higher and cooler slopes, bursting with aromas of gooseberry and passionfruit, this lively Sauvignon Blanc matches aromatic intensity with freshness and balance. Lime and nettle characters predominate on the palate which cleverly matches fruit sweetness with natural acidity.

Low yielding Chenin Blanc bush vines produce this clean, mid-bodied fresh white wine with hints of pear and honey aromas. It is rounded and supple on the palate and has a very subtle touch of sweetness with a crisp, zesty finish. This wine is made in a light elegant style with a smooth, refreshing palate and combined with delicate tropical flavours.

Nestled in one of the most picturesque valleys in the Cape winelands, Boschendal Wine Estate has a winemaking tradition of over 300 years. Cool fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve the delicate fruit flavours, this Sauvignon shows tropical fruit, citrus and herbs on the nose, crisp acidity and a clean, lingering finish.
£8.99
This Sauvignon comes from the De Wetshof Estate, 16km south-east of Robertson where lime-rich soils, coupled with the cooling effect of coastal breezes create a great environment for slow and measured grape development. This is an elegant white with zesty grapefruit flavours and a mouthwatering dryness.
£8.99
This is a lively, zesty Sauvignon Blanc bursting with apple characters which are quickly followed by gooseberry and green pepper. The palate is dry but full with racy acidity which makes this a good wine to drink with spicy foods.
£9.49
In line with general market demand, this wine is now lightly oaked to retain more vibrant fruit whilst still providing the well known and typical toasty oak finish. Golden coloured with notes of roasted almonds and vanilla on the nose followed by honey and creamy flavours derived from lees contact and barrel ageing. Medium bodied with a long lingering finish.
